Education advocacy and tutoring

Virtual and in-person tutoring for middle school and high school students whose primary language is not English. Partnering with parents and teachers to advocate for the education and futures of immigrant families.

Computer Distribution

We request donations of used computers, fix hardware, install operating systems, distribute and set up computers to support computer-based learning among families with school-age children in Colorado Springs.

During the current COVID-19 crisis, HALF has distributed over 15 computers to refugee and immigrant families in Colorado Springs.

Culture awareness

Cultural awareness training for professionals and volunteers advocating for and supporting their community’s refugees and immigrants.
